Kaleidoskop – Film und Freiluft 2022

17 Sommerabende, 17 Filme, 17 Intros. Nach zwei Ausnahmejahren kehrt Kaleidoskop zurück auf den Karlsplatz und feiert in der vierten Ausgabe mit einem Filmfest der vielfältigen Stadtgesellschaften Film- und Kinokulturen im öffentlichen Raum. An siebzehn Abenden entsteht auf der Leinwand ein Kaleidoskop aus filmischen Formen, urbanen Räumen, Lebensrealitäten und Erzählungen aus siebzehn Städten, zwischen Metropolis und Peripherie. Speaker for the department for queer*feminist practices wanted

The Department for queer*feminist politics stands for an active and visible queer*feminist politics inside and outside the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. For this political office we are looking for a queer*feminist and politically committed person who openly and clearly represents queer*feminist positions on behalf of the student union at the Academy of Fine Arts. Liebe Studierende, liebe Kolleg_innen, wir laden herzlich zur Teilnahme an der Vollversammlung der Akademie am Dienstag 24.05.2022 von 13:00 bis 16.00 Uhr in der Aula ein. Auch dieses Jahr hält die Akademie eine Vollversammlung ab, bei der alle Personengruppen der Akademie – allgemeines Personal, künstlerisch–wissenschaftliches Personal und Studierende – gemeinsam von Rektorat, Senat, ÖH, beiden Betriebsräten und AfG eingeladen sind, Fragen und Themen miteinander zu diskutieren, die für uns alle von Belang sind. Neben diesen Fragen wird auch grundlegendes rechtliches Wissen zum Verkauf von Kunstwerken, Ausstellungsbeteiligung und Lizenzierung vermittelt. We are pleased, that the Art Market organised by the ÖH akbild will take place from 30th of April and the 1st of march 2022 from 13:00-18:00. In a frame of Art Market we are hosting Firlefanz Flea Market @flohmarktfirlefanz and the community kitchen of ÖH, who offers Bio Food and drinks! AIR inSILo – Emergency Program

The emergency program of the AIR InSILo collaborates with the international program Artists at Risk, and is aiming to host artists in critical life situations, as well as independently invites and hosts artists, curators, and cultural workers who had lost their income or who suffer difficult life circumstances due to the crisis. In der Ukraine herrscht ein brutaler Krieg und eine Gruppe von ukrainischen Filmemacher:innen bleiben vor Ort, um – unter Einsatz ihres Lebens – den Krieg zu dokumentieren und die Welt mit unabhängigen Bildern zu versorgen. Diese Filmemacher:innen brauchen unsere Unterstützung, um arbeiten zu können und vor allem um ihr Leben zu schützen.
