Transnationale Bildungskämpfe und nationale Verfehlungen

Ein Kommentar zur Universitätsgesetz-Novelle Stürmisch geht es zu in den hochschulpolitischen Landschaften dieser Tage. Wer die Beispiele dafür verfolgt, dass der universitäre Raum politisch umkämpft und derzeit vielerlei Angriffen ausgesetzt ist, sieht wie in Ungarn massiver politischer Einfluss von rechts auf die Hochschulstruktur ausgeübt wird, wie in bayrischen Hochschulen Selbstverwaltungsstrukturen abgebaut, in Griechenland Proteste gegen eine geplante Reform des Bildungsgesetzes verboten und in der Türkei Parteifunktionäre auf Rektoratsposten gesetzt werden. Auch Studierende in finanziell schwierigen Situationen haben ein Interesse an Kunst und Kultur. Deshalb ist das Sozialreferat eine Partnerschaft mit der Initiative „Hunger auf Kunst & Kultur“ eingegangen. Studierende die Unterstützung aus dem Sozialfonds der ÖH AkBild bekommen, haben auch Anspruch auf einen Kulturpass. Was kann der Kulturpass? Der Kulturpass der Aktion „Hunger auf Kunst & Kultur“ ermöglicht freien Eintritt in zahlreiche Kultureinrichtungen (z.B. Museen). In jenen Kultureinrichtungen, die über begrenzte Plätze verfügen (z.B. Sitzplätze im Theater), sind in der Regel Kontingente für Kulturpassinhaber:innen vorgesehen.…

Foodcoop – mitmachen / join in

Seit Winter 2019 hat sich in der Augasse eine Foodcoop gegründet. Wir organisieren uns um weniger im Supermarkt einzukaufen und möglichst viel Lebensmittel direkt von Erzeuger_innen einzukaufen. Wir beziehen fair produzierten Kaffee, Tees, es gibt selbstgemachte Marmelade, Olivenöl aus direkthandel, und Bio-Gemüse von einen CSA-Bio Betrieb (und in Zukunft noch mehr diverse Lebensmittel, z.B. Brot, Orangen, …) Ein CSA Betrieb ist eine Struktur die Bäuer_innen ermöglicht möglichst unabhängig vom genauen Ertrag ihr Jahr zu planen. Eine CSA funktioniert über eine Struktur von direkten Abnehmer_innen dessen…
