During the lighting of the third Advent candle, the Winter Market will be back in Academy! This time right in the heart of the city at the Aula (of the Academy of FineArts) at Schillerplatz, organized by ÖH AkBild. We invite students and academy staff, as well as local creatives and independent artists to participate with their art inthe market.
We ask you to contribute: ceramics, small sculptures, graphics, small paintings, photographs, and other art and hand crafted pieces. Please note, we do not accept large-format works over 1 meter or any clothing items (no merchandise or second-hand items).
We will provide: a beautifully decorated venue with tables, hot drinks & delicioussnacks, christmas mood and good vibes. We also work on and a parallel programthat includes activities such as tarot card readings and writing letters to Santa Claus.
Our goal is to create a cozy, artistic space filled with handmade gifts that people canbuy and enjoy this winter season.
To participate, please send us what you plan to sell (including sizes, photos, andprice range), a brief introduction about yourself and your Instagram (of course, if youhave one). Ensure you send one high-quality photo of your artworks for promotionalpurposes. Everything must be one (1) pdf-file (max. 5MB) + one high-quality photo.

Disclaimer: While our primary focus is on students of the Academy, we welcomeapplications from faculty members and artists outside the institution. The marketteam will carefully select participants.
We will request a symbolic participation fee to cover operational expenses:
● For students: €10 per day
● For non-students: €30 per day
Note: The sale of food and drinks is prohibited. We kindly ask you to submit applications featuring art and design objects (e.g., ceramics, jewellery, postcards,etc.).
We value cleanliness and order and kindly ask all participants to assist in cleaning up the venue after the event concludes.
